Rollinsville Series
I completed several preliminary drawings while visiting the Shoshoni Yoga Retreat in Colorado. These sketches were the beginning of my latest series- "Rollinsville". Over several days, I sketched the beautiful temple and the grounds. My first impression was of the temple's beautiful, blue, tile roof. Behind the temple is a sheltering rock wall with just a few plants growing between the rocks. The roof of the temple is supported by massive wooden beams with gold on the ends. Finally, what sketch would be complete without aspens? I've continued with Sanskrit throughout these pieces by layering symbols into my work.
